Overview

Bersaglio Finance is an internal tool for personal and household financial tracking, adapted from an existing system for Israeli banks and credit cards. It is in active daily use and documented here as part of Bersaglio’s product practice, rather than offered as a public product.

The need

Managing household expenses across Israeli credit card providers and banks is traditionally complex, fragmented, and lacks automated smart insights without surrendering data privacy.

Practical goals

  • Complete data privacy via self-hosting and private local storage.
  • Seamless integration with Israeli bank and card formats.
  • Automated AI expense categorization and recurring payment detection.

Current state

In active personal use, running locally via Docker with MCP integration. It is not available as a public service or hosted app.
