Overview

Festivalio is an event-specific interface for exploring festival lineups, comparing stages and planning around overlapping sets without friction. Originating as a dedicated lineup tool for Ozora 2026, it has evolved into Festivalio, accessible live at festivalio.bersaglio.work.

The need

Multi-day, multi-stage festivals publish lineups as static PDFs or grids that don’t make overlaps obvious. Attendees resort to screenshots and manual notes to avoid missing sets they care about.

Product goals

  • Reduce the effort required to plan a festival day.
  • Make schedule conflicts visible at a glance.
  • Let users build and revisit a personal shortlist.

Constraints

  • Solo execution, no dedicated design or backend team.
  • Lineup data quality depends on what organizers publish, which varies year to year.
  • Early-stage validation — no real users yet.

The solution

A single-page timetable view grouped by stage, with tap-to-shortlist artists and automatic conflict highlighting. Built as a static prototype first to validate the interaction model before any backend investment.

Product experience

Prototype only at this stage — no production screenshots yet.

The process

Currently in the prototype step of the lifecycle: an initial concept and clickable prototype exist; no build-out or release has happened yet.

AI-assisted workflow

Used AI assistance for prototyping the timeline interaction and drafting the requirements document; the product decisions (which conflicts matter, what “shortlist” means) were made by Yoni.

Current state

In production. Used for the 2026 festival season; undergoing continuous improvements and feature upgrades.

What is next

  • Roll out scheduled features and interaction enhancements for upcoming events.
  • Expand artist metadata and timeline filtering capabilities.
